Forklift and Industrial Equipment Recycling
We buy forklifts!
Just like any other vehicle or piece of construction equipment, a forklift will eventually reach the end of its road and no longer have any miles left under its hood. Instead of dropping your equipment off at a junkyard to rust, bring it to us so it can be properly recycled and you can receive cash in exchange!
If you happen to have multiple forklifts that no longer run and need to be recycled, we are happy to accept them all with a little bit of prior notice. If you don’t have a method of transporting your machinery to us, let us know first. We can connect you with a trucking and transport professional we trust so we can help with your forklift recycling process.
Recycle your other industrial equipment too
Forklifts aren’t the only pieces of construction equipment that we’ll accept here at Langley Recycling! Other pieces of machinery, like scissor lifts, front loaders, excavators, and cranes, contain much of the same materials as forklifts that are sought out for recycling. If you’re machinery is no longer running, we can recycle it!
If you have industrial equipment that needs recycling and you’re not sure if we’ll accept it, give us a call or send us a message and we’ll let you know for sure and the information we need to get you in at our center.
F.A.Q.
Yes, we are happy to take and recycle all different makes and models of forklifts and other industrial equipment. Each piece of machinery has its own ratio of recyclable metals and materials that industries like to use in their manufacturing, but we will still give you an assessment and fair quote for any equipment you can drive, tow, or drag to us.
However, it is still important to remember that the things we look for in equipment to determine the cash we can pay out will vary from one machine to the next, so the value will be different with each make and model’s assessment.
Not at all! We understand that most companies will use their equipment until they are no longer operational, qualifying them as scrap, so much of what is brought to us no longer runs. Because we are not a junkyard with the goal of bringing equipment back to life, we don’t plan on using your scrap forklift or other industrial equipment for anything but scrapping it for recyclable materials and salvageable parts.
Prior to bringing your equipment to us, give us a call or send us an email. When you do so, we’ll give you guidelines on how to find the nameplate on your machinery; this will tell us about the total weight and type of battery in your machinery.
